ReStore FAQs

Is all of the merchandise used? No, it is a mixture of both new and gently used merchandise.

Where do you get all of the merchandise? Almost all of the merchandise in the ReStore comes from both individuals and companies who donate the items to us. These items are all tax-deductible. To learn how to donate to the ReStore, click here.

What types of things can I donate to the ReStore?  The ReStore accepts a wide variety of new and gently used building surplus materials. For a complete list of items, click here.

When can I drop off my donations to the ReStore? The ReStore accepts donations seven days a week during business hours.

Do you pick-up donations? Yes, we do. To schedule your pick-up of your tax-deductible donations,  please contact Vic Whipple of the ReStore at 734-323-7028.

Can I have an item held? Yes, we do offer a 3-day hold of items for pick-up, that have already been purchased.

Do you offer delivery? Yes, we do. The delivery charge within Washtenaw County is $50
*Items dropped off on first floor or in garage only, unable to remove doors to gain access, purchaser must have a clear path for delivery, installation is not allowed.

Do you accept returns? Yes, we accept  returns for items with both the price sticker on them and accompanied by the original receipt, within 14 days of purchase. No refunds are available. You will be given store credit that is valid for one year.
