Starting in September 2018, Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent Financial came together to offer Thrivent members and local volunteers the chance to help build stronger homes and stronger communities. During Building on Faith 2018, approximately 80 volunteers supported Habitat projects in Washtenaw County by helping current local residents with yard and community clean up and renovating a home for a future Habitat homeowner.

On Sept. 15, Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley hosted it’s first-ever Neighborhood Clean Up day in partnership with Thrivent, where more than 40 volunteers helped West Willow neighborhood residents with yard clean up, moving items to the dumpster and into the ReStore truck for resale.

On Oct. 5 and 6, roughly 20 volunteers helped build a garage at the future home of the Hardy Family
