part-time Restore truck associate/driver

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Ann Arbor has an opening for a part-time truck associate/truck driver. This is an hourly position for 16 hours per week with an occasional need for extra hours at times at $13/hour. This position also has the ability to turn into a full-time position.

To be considered for this position you MUST be able to meet the following requirements:

• Excellent people skills
• Retail experience 
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to drive box truck
• Stand for long periods of time
• Lift 50 pounds or more
• Comfortable in a rugged environment
• Friendly and outgoing
• Good with customers and donors
• Work with a wide variety of people
• Adjust quickly and easily to change
• Able to work Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm (Saturday’s are mandatory)

The ReStore is a non-profit retail business which is owned and operated by Habitat for Humanity Huron Valley. The ReStore is located on the West side of Ann Arbor at 6241 Jackson Rd, Ann Arbor 48103.

Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley (HHHV) is a dynamic, progressive nonprofit organization that works to provide affordable homeownership opportunities for low-income families in Washtenaw County. 

HHHV's ReStore, located in Ann Arbor, is a retail store where the public can shop for discounted merchandise, donate used items, and volunteer their time to support Habitat for Humanity. Over 85% of items sold in the ReStore come from donations from residents and businesses in the community. 100% of ReStore net revenue is invested back into Habitat programs to help families in Washtenaw County.
