Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley recognizes 2026 House That Beer Built Partners

Ann Arbor, MI — As the community heads into the warm summer months, Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley (Habitat) is highlighting local businesses that are helping keep refreshing drinks flowing while channeling proceeds toward building a home for a local homebuyer in need. Habitat is proud to recognize and celebrate the generous support of this year’s House That Beer Built partners.

Now in its eighth year, House That Beer Built brings together local breweries, cideries, restaurants and cocktail creators in a shared mission: to raise funds and awareness to support the construction of an affordable Habitat home in Washtenaw County. Each participating business contributes in a unique way, from donating a portion of sales to creating specialty beverages dedicated to the cause.

In 2026, these partners have collectively pledged more than $11,000 and will also contribute volunteer hours, working side-by-side on a Habitat home build within the community. Despite ongoing challenges such as workforce shortages and rising housing costs, these businesses continue to demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to giving back.

“Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley is deeply grateful for the creativity, generosity and resilience of our House That Beer Built partners,” said Sarah Stanton, Habitat CEO. “These local businesses not only enrich our community through their craft, but they also help create safe, affordable homeownership for our neighbors.”

Community members are encouraged to join the effort by supporting participating businesses or making a direct donation at: www.h4h.org/housethatbeerbuilt
