charitable gift annuities

A charitable gift annuity is a way of giving to Habitat, while still receiving a lifetime stream of annual income. You transfer your cash or property to Habitat and we promise to make fixed payments to you for life, at a rate based on your age.

IRAs

Direct your IRA plan administrator to distribute your preferred amount to Habitat. If you are 70 1/2 years old or older, this distribution is tax-free up to $100,000 for one calendar year.

Retirement plans

Naming Habitat as your retirement plan beneficiary is also a simple way of ensuring your impact. This can be a strong solution if you do not have the means to make your gift today, but would like to make a strong impact tomorrow.
